High speed motor, also known as spindle motor, can be broadly referred to as electric spindle, high-speed electric spindle, etc. It usually refers to a motor with a speed exceeding 10000r/min, and currently the highest speed can reach 300000r/min.

High speed motors are further divided into: AC asynchronous motors, DC synchronous permanent magnet motors, BLDC brushless motors, BLDC variable frequency motors, etc.

Structure and characteristics
