Permanent magnet synchronous motor is an important equipment for gearless traction motors in elevator drive systems. It has many advantages in specific use, such as high efficiency, fast action response, light weight, and small size.
Permanent magnet synchronous motor is a driving motor with a wide range of applications. Its system structure is mainly composed of permanent magnet steel rotor, stator, position sensor, etc., with small volume and simple structure. The application of permanent magnet synchronous motor in elevators can improve the operating speed of the motor and meet practical operating requirements, expanding the speed range of elevators.
Characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motors used in elevators:
1. Low mechanical noise, small torque fluctuations, stable running speed, fast and accurate response.
2. In terms of equipment maintenance, the implementation of permanent magnet synchronous motor technology supports inorganic room management in the elevator design process, reduces the space and area of building use, reduces the cost of using the entire elevator system, and facilitates maintenance. At the same time, it also reduces the use of traditional mechanical systems and reduces noise.
3. Small size and light weight, many high-performance permanent magnet materials have emerged, and the rotor can be driven and operated without excitation. Therefore, the power density of permanent magnet synchronous motors continues to increase, and even compared to asynchronous motors of the same capacity, the volume and weight of permanent magnet synchronous motors have decreased significantly.
4. Low loss and high efficiency. A permanent magnet synchronous motor can be driven without the need for excitation current, which is a significant difference between asynchronous motors. The use of high-performance materials increases the magnetic load, reducing the use of electrical load even at the same power, thereby reducing the loss of stator current and stator copper.
